This time I really felt bad to the wireless in shanghai, almost no shop provide the really free wireless access, and they only have the wireless infrastructure by CTC, but can not provide the free account. So there, if you want to use internet, you must prepare one wireless card (802.11x) and one TianYiTong account. Actually I prefer to use the GPRS/CDMA 1X wireless card more than the choice above, although I have the 802.11x card with my computer. The main reason is the difficulties for me to apply for such a TYT account. The things I prefer are that I can complete with my laptop and mobile anytime and anywhere. The convenience is very important. From that I see the future of 3G and later mobile communication, the failure of 802.11 wireless mainly comes from the fact there is no perfect commercial mode to be found. I think the most important thing is to let most of people use it and get used to have it all the time, but not $$$ all the time.
